Hi guys,
I know I've seen a topic about this but can't find it, yes I used the search key and checked all over.
I am thinking of changing out the fairings on the bike. similiar to this...just looking for info. Thanks!

A) Has anyone done this
B) How difficult would this be? Is it just changing out the stay brackets and putting on the fairings?
C) What other (if any) models could be used?

Re: Fairing Conversion
You can use any models bike fairings. It is only a matter of making brackets and doing some fitting. Granted some are easier than others. You will need to make brackets for nearly everything. Someone has done an entire R6 body work, but I can't think of who at this time.
Just be careful with buying these kits. Fitment usually takes some time to get correct as most of the kits are slightly off. Also, buy a kit without paint or graphics on it yet. I've never heard anything good about the pre-painted fairings.
I have heard good things about the kits from this place though. http://www.delkevic.us/ But again. Paint it yourself.

Yes, that is a Single Sided Swingarm FZR600 that I built.

Yeah, Delkevic has some cool stuff. I live 5 minutes from them and I was just there last week looking around and picked up a headlight for my XS11. Theyre attached to a big ass shop that has a huge used bike yard, lots of aftermarket parts for sale, and killer deals on bikes. Its my new favorite bike shop in town
Ill be headed back next week looking for more stuff.

Hey guys, yea..there's not much to that site for us. What started me woderin was this http://www.airtech-streamlining.com/hon ... rea600.htm I absolutely love this fairing. would something like this be feasible? I understand cad600 stated I'd have to make brackets...not sure how to do this, but more than happy to learn.
