i guess that was the net result.... i bought a seca triple top and tried to put some dirt bars on. no way the cables would work so plan b. flip the clipons and try to figure out how to mount the stock light and clock to the forks. ended up using a ktm kickstand, kdx sprocket and fzr mirror stalks to fashion the mount. had to reverse the speedo drive. its handy that there is a mirror mount point in the clutch perch already. dang, i should have just removed the windscreen :duh:
