Is there anywhere (besides Ebay) to get Piston Rings for the FZR600 as a set opposed to buying them one at a time via somewhere like cyclepartswarehouse.com http://www.cyclepartswarehouse.com/fich ... 2&fveh=476 (57$ a piece!!!!!!!)
or what would be nice would be if there is a replacement from a newer engine, but after some searching I don't think that there is one....
**** when looking at the parts page (is number 5 on the piston drawing) there are three piston ring sets is that for each of the layers or different size options?
http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/parts/home.aspx has different information
Piston Rings

There was an EBAY seller with a name like Georgefixit (it is in the archive here someplace for selling Carb re-furb kits ) who may just be able to help out. I used his services as have others and there should be a mailing of mine about him.. Sorry I cannot be more specific than that:-{{{{
Re: Piston Rings
The other size options are for an oversized OEM piston which would be used as a replacement sent. You would need the matching pistons and have your cylinders board out. I think Yamaha is the only place to get these now. I saw someone on eBay selling a new set of 4 a few weeks ago, but they sold.
Try www.yamahasportsplaza.com as I've not seen too many places with better prices. Only problem with them is that shipping is slow unless you live in Seattle.

Yes, that is a Single Sided Swingarm FZR600 that I built.
