Rev Guage doesnt work

Hi,

Just bought my first bike, FZR 600 Genesis (1990) but the rev gauge and dial light isnt working? The lights, indicators etc are all fine and I can see they all go intot he same connector and fuse. Any idea how to fix it?

could also be the wiring leading into the tach..There's 3 wires which head into the backside of the tach housing. Make sure they're all tight and in the right spot. 1 goes to ground, 1 to ignition and the other to the CDI I think.. I can't remember exactly, but I believe that's the how it works..
