gauges went crazy

so the last night when i was out riding i went to hop on the bike after i ate and i started riding and my gauges flickered a couple of times then went black and now the tach isnt working as well... i also have upgraded to HID's recently just a plug n play type kit from ebay

ayn ideas on what is happening? that and where is the fuse box?

Check the fuses, fuse box in under the seat next to the "Black Box"

so i went and looked under the seat for the fuze box but uhh ... i dont see that mess any where .. am i blind or just stupid? mines an 89 obviously

It is not very big and has a snap off cover on it. Mine was just right (if sitting on the bike) of the cdi "Black Box" If you still don't see it can you post a pic of under the seat. You did check under the main seat right?

do i need to take my fairing off or something? i dont see anything that resembles a fuse box

Top cover's black, bottom of it's white/yellow... it's about 1" wide by about 3" long by 1.5" high or something like that.. you really can't miss it.. it says "FUSE" right on the cover.
