Overflow bottle tube routing
I finally picked up an overflow bottle for my bike. I think I know how the bottom tube routes up to the radiator feedneck via the clips on the frame. Where does that tube on top of the bottle go? Anyone have pics?
Re: Overflow bottle tube routing
The upper hose from the overflow bottle gets routed back forward and ends up feeding between the engine and it's rear mounting bolts and ends up right by the front end of the relay arm(the relay arm is the piece that the shock bolts to at the bottom). This is so the coolant gets dumped on the ground if you overfill or overheat the bike severely(apparently the risk of Yamaha getting sued for someone getting scalded outweighed the risk of a suit due to a tire getting hosed with really slippery hot liquid)
