Fzr Forks

On my fzr the fork seals look like they are leaking but it seems like its due to the chrome on the forks being slightly corroded and bubbly. Besides replacing the seals, do I need to get a new set of forks or can they be re chromed or something? I know if i just replace the seals they will just get messed up again because of the chrome. Any input is appreciated.

Forks can be rechromed or replaced but sounds like the ideal time for front end upgrade.
