Gauges

Post by Jshak07 »

I have a 95' Fzr600 and found some gauges off ebay that were for a 94' fzr600. Will these work with my bike? I have noticed that the gauges off the 94' from eBay also have a gas light and mine as of now do not. Other than that they seem to be the same other than the oil light, gas light, turn signal, brights, neutral lights look a little different

Are the ebay gauges listed as an "FZR600R" or FZR600? I ask that because the 94 "FZR600R" is known here in the states as the YZF600..different bike.

Hi,
Guys here have used as late as R6 & R1 guages and not had too many problems. So 94's on a '95 bike should be easy. The gas Guage light might be redundant but there is nothing so far as I have read here about fitting the gas level mech being hard to retro -fit you may even be able to use late model mech bits to make it all work.

I am wanting to put some gauges off an r6 or r1 so I can have a digital speedometer. Any write up's on this somewhere? Thanks

As sweekster points out, could be they're for a different model (FZR600 compared to FZR600R). If so, they won't work straight out the box as the connectors are different, though I'm sure some electrical knowledge could overcome that. It all depends how handy t=you are, or how much you;re willing to pay someone.

Looking at using r6 gauges on my bike but what all do you need to buy other than the gauges itself? Also will my gas light, oil light, neutral light still work?
