Sneak Peek edit*PICTURES

Post by BlueKnightx »

Alright I know I have been gone for a while, but I promise I have just been working on the bike.

I have completely the entire frame swap and cleaned the parts and pieces up a bit. Along with replacing the just flat out broken parts I also added the R6 front brakes. I located the fairings I was missing and started to paint everything to match. As of now I need to put the new master link in, set the clutch, put in the new starter switch, and mount the tank fairing anf front fairing and she will be ready for the first road test.

Like in the tile though...this is just a sneak peek...

Alright here it is. I still need to change the exhaust and put the newly painted front fender on but I wanted to get it out and ride. So here it is.

Sorry to keep everyone hangin, but as luck would have it the three days after I complete the build it rains. Hopefully that is all the bad luck this bike has.

Starting to come together

Last night before I took it out for a spin.

It was a lot of fun taking the entire bike apart and putting everything on a nice straight frame. If you didn't see my first ever post here...this is what I started with.

I would move your shock resevoir to the other side. You are putting a gas charged cylinder next to your HOT exhaust. You are asking for problems with your shock.

That is a good catch on the res for the shock.

I dont know what kind of can it is. It is the can that came with the bike, it is carbon fiber but has been completely hollowed out. It also looks like crap because who ever had the bike before me laid it down hard and cracked a bunch of the carbon fiber.
