Or if she did know the difference, even better if she had the ability to look in a toolbox and try to find a 12mm by eye instead of picking up every one she sees and reading them off until she finds the needle in the haystack. It's quicker to walk to the toolbox and grab what I need. Otherwise if she knew what tools to grab by eyeballing the size, she would probably know enough about engines to help me and not hand me tools.

You're funny "another one bites the dust"..lol
OH boy,
If you do not start training her real soon and lay your tools out in size order before you start so she get the idea of size (ie 6" aint 8") you are gonna be gone from the bike scene as soon as the first nappy needs changing taught wife No1 & number 3, number 2 was afraid she might chip a nail and I had to bin her as she said it was my bikes or her , opened the door as any gentleman would :whistle

got the bike to start up today for the first time with the YZF600 carbs, still no camera, my friend still has it, otherwise i would have video'd the bike running. It sounds beefy with the YZF600 carbs, smooth acceleration when i slowly roll the throttle. I kept trying to start it and noticed some wiring issues since it's been sitting in the weather. Clutch switch isn't working, but it's probably wiring, but it started in neutral fine, and i had to do a quick rewire for the two wires that go to the engine kill switch because one of my crimps came loose somehow. This is all stuff that i can take off and bring up to the house, rip into, and fix. Also had some buildup on the pins in the harness plugs for the coils, so i pulled the pins out of the plugs and took sandpaper to them. After all this, it started up, so needless to say..i'm happy. I still have to sweat the copper fittings for the cooling tubes behind the carbs. I already have in mind how i'm going to do it, i just have to do it, and i have to get the stuff from my friend first.

So things i have left to do before she runs on the road again..
License plate light
fix turn signal wiring
get individual air filters
replace fork seals
get safety inspection
put insurance back on it
