Looks sweet and tidy. Nice find chum.

Fortunately for me, I'm 10 years older than woman, so if I want a bike I'll bloody well have one! Yes dear, I'll type a bit more quitely.

Nice! Looks like someone before you painted the frame black as well... my favorite!

You also have a vortex rear sprocket and new chain (probably RK).

Welcome!

havent been on in a bit, here's an update.

So i found out the title the guy gave me when i purchased the bike, was not the title to the bike i purchased. good story for buyer beware. Finally found the vin on the frame, and checked it through carfax, only showed a state inspection in 1995 in new jersey. no real help, although kinda odd the bike hasnt been registered ANYWHERE EVER! anyway, i call the local PD, and ask them to run the vin, they say they cant, so i call another, same result. Finally, i call the DMV and they tell me there is no record of the bike. never been registered. wierd, but at the same time, somewhat reassuring as they tell me the vin is not in the national database of stolen vehicles.

long story short, basically my FZR has never truly existed. lol. but i am now in the process of getting a title for it. jumping through the hoops, and soon enough, she will be actually legal for the road. in the mean time, i ride her very little, usually around my neighborhood, and to work. ( i work exactly 1 mile from my house ). havent even had her over 50 mph yet. but she does run like a top the few times ive taken her out.

Haven't seen a carfax report work for a motorcycle yet. Best way to check the vin is to call the State Patrol or you insurance company.
Yes, that is a Single Sided Swingarm FZR600 that I built.

Something is lurking, waiting, wanting to be built......It calls to me from the darkness....

I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel....Then I realize that it is the train coming to run my ass over....
