Rim Swap OR ????

Post by ANCIAL »

O k just curius what it is that i keep here about using a suzuki rim and tire to get a wider shoe and rear stance. is this just a simple rim swap or is there more to it. :headscratch: cause i have some gsxr rims sitting in my shop collecting dust.

It's more to give you a 17" rim for better tire choices.

There have been others that have done this, but check out some info here if you're interested: viewtopic.php?f=30&t=753
Yes, that is a Single Sided Swingarm FZR600 that I built.

sounds like there is way more involved then what i want to do deal with right now. i dont want to get into having to mill something. a wider wheel would be nice but i dont much mind a thinner wheel. maybe down the road when everything else is together and im not worrying about the frame i do a swap or mod on the rear wheel or swingarm.

You can go 150/60/18 and some have had the 160 on there but thats stretching it.
