MIRRORS

Post by payne3400 »

I have just done my first assesment on my advanced riding course and the instructor said if I want to pass, I need extensions for my mirrors so i can see behind me properly (amongst other things).

I just wondered if anyone knew of mirrors from another bike that had longer arms that would fit straight n to save messing about getting extension blocks made

I happen to have GSXR mirrors on my FZR 1000 using a few shims and the FZR mirror bases they work perfect and provide great rear visibility. Much better than the standard mouse ear FZR mirrors. YZF600r ThunderCat Mirrors, YZF750R, And 94-95 FZR1000 Mirrors work well too.

While I agree the stock mirrors are crap. I would ask him (not in a way that he thinks you're being an ass) why you have to when those are stock from the factory.
Yes, that is a Single Sided Swingarm FZR600 that I built.

Something is lurking, waiting, wanting to be built......It calls to me from the darkness....

I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel....Then I realize that it is the train coming to run my ass over....
