I'm at a loss. You aren't by chance in the metro Atlanta area? If so, I could fix the wire connectors for you in a few hours.
I might be able to make an extension wire that will allow it to plug in similar to OEM. The only other option I can think of is to cut and hard wire everything together which is not a great solution.
Anyone else have an idea?

Yes, that is a Single Sided Swingarm FZR600 that I built.
Something is lurking, waiting, wanting to be built......It calls to me from the darkness....
I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel....Then I realize that it is the train coming to run my ass over....

Re: Ok now this help please
The speedo is cable driven for all years.
Like I said, I'm stumped. The micro fiche calls for the same wiring to go from the gauges to the harness from '91-'99. So it should plug right in.
Is the harness installed in the bike yet or are you just test fitting things? Reason I ask is I'm a visual person, so seeing the whole thing helps. There is a place on the internet you can go to and buy OEM style wire connectors. http://www.vintageconnections.com/ You could pull everything apart and rewire it if you have a manual to follow. Like I said before though, I might be able to put together an extension wire harness that allows you to plug things together properly. Let me know if you want something like that as I have to look at what wire and connectors I have around.
