The one on Ebay is FZR600 specific

I can tell you that those ugly black tube footpeg hangers are a PITA to get a replacement for as they are 100mm centres where most are 80 / 90mm.where they go on the frame.
There is rumour that FZR 400 of ONE model only fit but as of yet I have not found out which it is.

I came across a do-it-yourself end can supplier and their stays had slots the crowd was so thick round the stall I could not get a measurement

After a close look in the Yamaha parts list....
I think the FZR-400 aluminium bracket have Yamaha part # : 2TK-21445-00-00

Here in Sweden it today cost : 950 SEK = 82 GB£ = 161 US$ = 168 AU$

This is my stock 400 rear bracket..

Where I have the exhaust mounted to it used to be where the passenger peg was. I had to gind the tabs where the peg was mounted in order for the V&H can off of a 600 to fit correctly.

Looks different than yours Lasse.. Not sure whether that's an issue of being overseas and having a different version... Mine's an 89, not sure what year the one in your pic is.

Hi Brian

( The bike in the pictures is only for refference purposes ! )

Acording to Yamaha's part list, the FZR-400 came in 2 different versions...

* One version with single seater and a exhaust bracket without a tab for the passenger fot peg. Part # : 2TK-21445-00-00
&
* One version with 2-up seat using a different exhaust bracket made for the passenger fot peg. Part # : 1WG-2742L-00-00

I would be happy to make a few of these for people. You give me a design you want and I'll see if I can fab it up. Not sure what the going rate on these things is but I'm sure I could be competitive.
