I don't remember if i mentioned this before, but if it doesn't work initially, i'll just pull the yzf pickup out and replace it with my fzr one, leaving everything the stator and cover. The stator cover is the exact same thing, they look identical. I'll take pictures comparing the two when I pull the yzf one out, but the pickups look identical except for the actual part that picks up the pulse. On the yzf it's like a long rectangular circle, and on the fzr it's just a circle. I saw this when i was putting it in and hoped it wouldn't affect anything, but apparently it does. I'll find out for sure soon.

I'm pretty sure rage is talking about the depth of the pickup location in the YZF cover.

The pickup needs to end up centered over the timing triggers (bumps) on the flywheel.

Hi,
If you have polished your covers then you need to wax them with carnauba & polymer mixed waxes. These are used by the serious car show types on their restro's it is totally water proof (never get in your hair , do not ask how I know LoL ) It is hard work to hand apply a breeze if you have power mop's etc.

I get mine from " Chemical guys " do agoogle Ok
