swapping wheels...

will the rims off a 96 r6 fit onto a 90 fzr600??? please let me know... thanks...

NOPE....

thats why everyone does a swingarm conversion.
the older gsxr rims will fit the fzr swinger...viewtopic.php?f=30&t=753&st=0&sk=t&sd=a
so will some bandit 600

Anything can be made to fit with slight modification. I have the R6 Swingarm and can mount the 99-02 R6 Wheel.

I know PIMPMYFZR has an avatar with a wide back tire, have any pics of this swap? It looks like a very good work to me...

He swapped his whole swingarm to the YZF600R Swinger. There's a writeup in the forum here somewhere, and there might even be one in the Wiki. When you go to the YZF swingarm, it look alot like ours but has a 17x5.5 rim on it as opposed to our stock 18x4.0 rim. The 5.5 came with a 160 section tire on it stock (I think), but I'm pretty sure PMF has a 180 on there now. my2cents
