I was digging through the archives and read about someone lowering the front of the fzr. Would you do that just by loosening the frame bolts from the forks and dropping it down an inch or so....
Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome. References to archived information also a big help.........tnanx DEMO

I give you all the specs once I get home...
you have to loosen the bars, and the parts that connect to the forks...
be careful as the bikes front will just drop and crash into the front wheel if your front has no support

Re: lowering front??????
The best way is to first get the front wheel off the ground. When I had a 600 I put jack stands under the lower frame rails. Then you have to remove the fairings (easier with them out of the way in my opinion) and loosen the clip-ons, the top clamp, and the bottom clamp on the tripple tree. The you should be able to slid the front end up higher. When you get the desired height tighten everything back. It does change how the bike turns though (makes it quicker) but you'll get used to it.
