got a question...
this is my first FZR so forgive me if this is a silly question... I've noticed that when cruising in say 5th gear... someone in front of you slows to turn and you just drop down to 4th and try to accelerate from around 2000-2500 rpm back up to speed the bike stumbles and bucks... forcing you to either give it a bunch more gas or downshift another gear. is this a characteristic of these bikes? it seams to run fine other than this. I thought it had too much chain slack and that was causing it so I adjusted the chain and the backlash is less but the bucking is still there.

Re: got a question...
yeah , thats just how they are .
Re: got a question...
yeah, if you downshift to 3rd or 2nd it shouldn't buck. They like to run in the midrange 4,000 - 7,000 RPM.

Re: got a question...
yea I noticed it likes the revs up... I've been spoiled with my KZ 650 powered chopper... you can have it in 5th, slow down and take a turn and roll on the throttle again and just take right off. different powerband I guess.
