Wiring Harness Years?

I own a 96 FZR and i was wondering if i were to buy a wiring harness what years do you think would differ??

"Technically" they are the same from 1989 to 1998 with the exception of the headlight connection for 91-92. 1995 and up uses a 5 wire Voltage Regulator/Rectifier where as previous years use a 4 wire model (previous years can be adapted to use a 5 wire model as well). Other than those differences the only things that changed where the color schemes.

There were some other differances. The '89 and '90 had a seperate main fuse block and the connections for the gauges to the wire harness was a little different as well.

Either way, since you have a '96, you want to go with a '95 - '99 wire harness for the VR plug to match up.
