Radiator leaking???

Post by cpudoc6 »

Mr radiator has started the leaking issue. I have a couple of questions
1) has anyone succesfully used a radiator (dump in) to temp fix it? just for a couple of more weeks till it goes night night for the winter
2) Can I upgrade to an YZF / R6 radiator and fan, if so how difficult?

Thanks

i fixed a radiator leak on my ktm with jb weld. if you can locate the leak, drain the system and leave the cap off, clean the area around the leak and apply jb weld, then wait 24 hours, you will be fine. new radiators are expensive. jb weld is cheap and does a killer job.
