Ford coil location

Looking at replacing the coils and have the parts to do the Ford coil conversion. The stock ones are having a hard time staying together at the boot and #4 has had to be fixed a couple of times now. So I'm looking at a better option.

Has anyone gotten these installed without having to remove the air box and install pods? Where did you located them? Any special things or tricks you had to do to make it work?
