Brake Light - Front ONLY, no rear

Brake Light - Front ONLY, no rear
First post, total noob. Brake light is only engaging for front brake deployment, nothing for the rear. Any help is appreciated greatly!

I realize now that had I searched my dilemma first, I would have found this to be a particularly useful thread as it contains the exact answer to that which I was seeking.

So...like I said...total noob here, nothing like making it obvious with my first post...I learn quick though, and I'm gonna need lots of help moving forward, having acquired a '92 FZR 600 mere days ago I am at the very bottom of the knowledge scale.
