Rear shock

Am I correct in my assumption that the only difference from the 1K shock to the YZF750 is the collar on the top where it attaches to the subframe? (Same as R6) The reason I ask is I'm collecting parts for a YZF750 based vintage RoadRace project and I have an early (no ride height adjustment) Ohlins that would suit the part... If there's a length or other major difference, I'll sell the 1K Ohlins and start over.

Just to bump this a bit, the Ohlins is up for sale on eBay, as there's a length difference between it and the YFZ750. So I'm officially on the hunt for a YZF750 racing shock. As long as it's rebuildable I'm not picky on brand or condition. Ride height adjustment would be a plus. Thanks.
