Im looking for a set of downpipes for my fzr600r 1994. Its the 4jh which i believe is the same as the thundercat so either would be fine, I live in birmingham UK so preferable in picking up distance

Hi, Chris.

The FZR600R / 4JH was the 'Foxeye', imported to North America as the YZF600. The 'Thundercat', also labeled the YZF600 but with various differences, was the 4TV. Some of the differences are significant - forks, fuel pump, fairings; others less so.

I'll have to leave it to people with more direct knowledge to comment on the exhaust headers.

thanks for letting me know, in that case, does anyone know if the down pipes are same on the foxeye and the thundercat?

They seem to be a common thing to rust away so getting hold of a second hand one is almost impossible!

I have a set of Thundercat Motad Venom headers on my FZR600R (4JH) with a Thundercat end can.

The Motad headers were about £130 direct from Motad on ebay.
