just joined after inheriting a 1990 3he genesis fzr 600 that has been parked up for a few years, i hope to completely strip down the frame and get that powder coated, and then begin putting it back together again (hopefully, armed with a haynes manual and any help i can get from here. i am just waiting for delivery of paddock stands to get started properly. unfortunately the keys are missing so that is my first issue as they are needed to get the tank off to get to the connector (a bit of a catch 22 situation!) i reckon i will have to either cut the wires, or else trash the tank cover, i havent decided which yet.anyway i need a complete exhaust system , and am tempted by a set of ss downpipes for £139 on fleabay, anyone had any experience of the quality?.

hi if they are the delkavic ones then yes they are good quality, got some on mine. just to say ive had them for years when they first started making them , i believe they are a bit thinner now but still stainless so should last

+5 on the delviks from e-bay sales , the grade of stainless is thick enough with out being overly heavy the welds are clean & tidy and mine did not require any "finessing" to get them to fit.

I think it is a toss up for value for money mod to the bike between these and my TSS PD valves (emulators) I put in my forks

sounds good enough for me, may be time to raid the piggybank although a long way to go before pipes are needed
