FZR 400 1WG/TK2SP/3EN Series Rear Caliper.SORTED !
A rear brake caliper is required from any of the models in title.
I am unsure if the later 3TJ models are the same fitment.
Many thanks, Bill.

Re: FZR 400 1WG/TK2SP/3EN Series Rear Caliper.
Hi George, firstly hope your health is improving=Mrs George told us about it !!!
Thanks for link=lots of tips in there.
Its actually for a 2TK SP I have just aquired and has a larger rear caliper fitted that's inner piston body has been rubbing on wheel hub.
It's far too big!!
For a bit of a rarity like the TK it needs to be right. A 3EN series is correct as Ive done a mock up from one of my others. I think 1WG Genesis are the same. !!!
Correct caliper has NO inspection hatch on top.

Re: FZR 400 1WG/TK2SP/3EN Series Rear Caliper.
Bill,
Yeh thanks mate getting there, just too blo*dy long for my liking. Mrs G is Camala by the way and she is a damn good wrench and can also fix humans it seems as well. She was nominated for an award in the hospital so i am pretty pleased with myself for being a good talent spotter. LoL
If you could post pics of the duff caliper and what you reckon the right one is i will look thro the "collection box" the way it mounts would be beneficial (hole centers measurement), I am not sure if that model had the caliper mounted below the swing arm or not?

Re: FZR 400 1WG/TK2SP/3EN Series Rear Caliper.
Caliper mounts on top of axle in a ally mount.
Duff caliper is either 600,750 or 1000 type wth plastic pad inspection hatch on top.
Correct fitment has no hatch and would be 3/4 smaller than a 600 one.
This is an attempt at photo of required item;

Re: FZR 400 1WG/TK2SP/3EN Series Rear Caliper.
Bill,
Y-G has seen this photo and he thinks he has one similar in amongst all the other "bike treasures" he has When we get back later I will take alook with him and see. No promises that we have but no harm in looking.
as to Y-G talent spotting he used to be real busy at that when he was not fettling bikes or being the Boss someplace. The fact is it was me that spotted him and made the catch stick <BG> guess he was just lucky

Thanks George,Unfortunately I cannot work links,I put "itemid=27834" etc into search box but get no items only random images.
The caliper is dead simple= Smaller than 1000,750 or 600 (all same) with no hatch and top fit over axle.

Bill,
try this ( since the G2Img system is busted the images are in the gallery on this site click the gallery button and then do a search for "just some of yamaha_georges bikes)
There are 6pages of pics the caliper pics are on page 4 of the album
OR
else cut and paste this into the browsers URL box

Bill,
Hopefully you can look here for better shots :
I can confirm there is a casting blank to take a 2nd nipple on the R/H siderear caliper half
