Re: Speedo converter
Thanks George,
I do the usual google and ebay uk searches first ;then europe (unlikly in this case but was worth a shot ) then USA .
This goes for nearly all items I post up as required,
The problem with this item ;it is aftermarket and no longer produced as cables went out and electronics superceded.
Because of the construction they wear out pretty quickly and get snapped up quick.
I can obtain the blue one but no space for it in 600r '89 console.
Some one in Uk may turn up trumps
As ever,respectfully Bill.
On another similar note;
I now find virtually all imports from USA are getting attention of UK customs & revenue and incurring at least a £8 duty plus a further £8 handling charge from courier or postal service.
The old way of having " Gift -under £50 value " on package is now irrelevent and the only way is for the package to be of an old used box (certainly not new) with the "Recipients OWN PERSONAL PROPERTY -- BEING RETURNED " legend wrote on it and sent from an individuals,
not a business address
Obviously most commercial vendors are uncomfortable with this but its worth a try if you do not intend to reduce the UK',s national debt singlehandedly.
