FZR 400 1WG 2TK exup breaking

Post by Rich1990 »

i have a 1987 1WG 2tk fzr.
almost all parts available
engine is a really good runner, no rattles at all, starts first time, clutch is good an all gears work perfectly.
straight frame, awaiting V5 (bought off a friend so the logbook actually exists), no damage to frame
wheels are black and have brand new dunlop tyres.
almost every part available

either message me or write back on here with what you need and i will give a price

thanks

Rich,
just a question to clarify which bits are 1WG and what bits are 2TK? as I believe they are two different models of 400.

1WG was the only legal import to the US, anything else was a "grey import" i.e done on a personal basis, just in case any of our American cousins want to buy your parts.

2TK stuff I have the impression over the last 4 years are rather rare.

Pictures always help with a sale so you might want to add one or two :-}

I only bought it from a friend last week. With no clocks and ofcourse unknown milage i doubt anyone will want to buy as a whole! The engine however can be heard running if needed! Is a fully running bike surely someone is interested? If there isnt much interest n the more expensive parts i will keep it and use it!

Rich,
Unknown mileage is not a real problem to most experienced bikers the overall condition & sound of it will tell you what you need to know.
The bike looks like it has had a lot of work put into it (polished bits & the exhaust can show the kind of mind that owned it )
I would join the FZR400 Yahoo group and tell them about it there are few Brits who hang there too and another almost race ready bike is always a draw.
