FZ 600 SUSPENSION AND OTHER PARTS SUPPLY

Post by davelenton »

Hi all preparing an FZ600 production racing bike for classic club.
Where is the best place to get fork bushes and other replacement items.
Dose anyone know if there is a replacement rear suspension unit from another production bike preferably with adjustments?
Anyone know the size of spacers used in the front forks to stiffen up the preload?
Cheers Dave

Use a fzr front-end it has way better brakes larger forks and is a bolt-on item
You can use a r1 or r6 rear shock with minor drilling

I was looking at what you said. The forks on the FZ are smaller the the ones on a FZR. I have both right in front of me. And they are longer. I put a set on my XJ600 Seca II and they were about 2" longer. But the XJ and the FZR have same fork size but not the FZ.
