GH:- Carbon cans WARNING

Guys from another lis:-
have a serious problem with my carbon exhaust can.
raced it on my 500cc motor no more than 250km and suddenly it was very
noisy and there was a BIG hole in it.
carbon and damper wool in that area was melt/burnt

Anybody ever had similar problems or any idea why that happened?
The can was straight through with 50mm inner dia.
Have to say that when the hole was in it the motor suddenly revs
about 600 higher
GUYS be warned of this VERY EXPENSIVE FAILURE
The cause is that the packing wore out after 1YEAR and the very hot gasses burned the epoxy in the carbon weave and thus the can is now useless.
CARBON cans need repacking ever 6 -9 months unless you have literally money to burn
