Engine comparison

Guys,

I'm considering an engine swap into my 1WG. Obviously I've seen that this has been done with engines from the FZR600, YZF600 and a combination of the two. What I haven't seen, however, is any data comparing these options. Does anyone have dyno results from these three options? Ideally the results would come from the same dyno, but I definitely understand how unlikely that is. Does anyone have results they could share? I'd love to see the raw data before the correction factors were added, but I think I can pull that out myself, if necessary. Personally, I'm not after a huge peak horsepower number. I'm looking for big mid-range and a useable torque curve.

If I get the right information, I wouldn't mind pulling it together and letting you know what I find. If this has already been done, please point me in the right direction.

Cheers

75HP and 40ft/lbs for the FZR600. http://www.sportrider.com/bikes/146_020 ... to_16.html

95HP and 45 ft/lbs for the YZF. http://www.fzrarchives.com/ipb/index.ph ... =36862&hl=

Both runs were made with pipes and jetting. Both swaps have been done to death. Just use the search.

The YZF600 motor is the best way to go. You'll need all the electronics, swing arm, etc... to make it work though.
