size 525/530 front sprocket?

hi everyone, recently i have a 530 on the rear and the chain. what im a bit confused is the front sprocket if i can still use it its still new. would anyone experienced with different sizes. if not then i will replace the front. thanks

It's best the chain and both sprockets match otherwise bad things can happen.

That's an understatement. When you use mismatched chains/sprockets you put an incredible amount of stress on the chain and it will snap resulting in extensive damage to your bike and possible loss of your leg above your ankle... not pretty.

Considering the potential bad things that can happen - Sprockets are pretty inexpensive. Better to do it right and not skimp. Same could be said for anything I suppose...
