R6 seat cowel & clocks

Hi, i have a 1988 FZR400 3en1 & i was wondering how do i go about changing the seat cowl/fearing. what year do i source the parts from, & also can i change the clocks for the ones that come off the R6(the digi ones)

Hey Dave, go to the wiki and you can find the R6 Gauges wiring diagram and some what of a how to. I have not finished it yet but you will have to drill a hole in your crankcase for the sensor. As far as the tail, you can do any year you want with simple modding. The 99-02 is what I have and was fairly easy. You will need the 99-02 seats, tail, undertail, tail light, rear lock mechanism and you can follow this site if you like: http://heath.agdog.com/fzr/workbench/r6_tail_yzf_tank/

Most of the parts are on ebay but you might have to hit up your local salvage.
