Stil looking for the missing lower Sidefairing-Decals for my first one, but seems to be nowhere available anymore :-/ At least the exact Measurements of the Decals would help for finding a company to reproduce them..or a fiting color code for the blue for repainting the Decals instead of remaking stickers..

Nice bike! I hope mine looks half that good when done.
To the 2nd poster, you know the primary color on the side decals is painted correct? You will only get a small sliver of the secondary color to help you mask. A paint shop will have no problems matching the decal color for the paint. RDdecals has the correct shapes for the red/white bikes so you may be able to get them to print you a set in a different color...

The Decals seen on my black FZR are the original ones, the missing lowers are the problem here in Germany because of the "Flakes" / "Metallic effect" and most automotive Painters seem not to be able to figure out the Mix with measurementtools...with a correct Yamaha-Colorcode i will be able to order the paint at R&H Lacke (
http://www.motorradlack.de ) but they don't have information about US-Models :-/...same as stardesign, they just don't have the proper colorcode available for the us-models (no wonder, both are located in europe, like me
)...so i'm stuck with getting the colorcode for the blue. The silver ist mostly like RAL 9007, a bit darker Aluminium-Silver than RAL 9006 which is known as White-Aluminium-Silver and quiet fitting to the Frame's color.
At least the Code for the Yamaha Black is known: 6G/NYB (new Yamaha Black) from the List of Yamaha Colors at R&H Website

Ah yes, the joys of matching a metallic paint. You are right is not easy. I believe Colorrite in Quebec was the only place in Canada that sold OEM paints and they were 3 times as much as my local place.

Here's some pics of my bike which is currently a little bit further than the very last photo, but, will soon have the engine half out since I was a idiot
and did not change my valve seals when it was out before. But it will be done by next year for sure. Ill get some real professional shots next summer.
