FZR Pistons-3tj

Total newbie to the world of FZR so I apologies for any seeming daft questions.
Anyway, Hi fellow forum members and I'd like to let you know that I am just about to purchase a 92 3TJ, this will be used for racing only.
I've previously raced Kawasakis and the odd piston was used, usually due to valves or collets failing but that led me to this about getting afew FZR Pistons for the shelf. So I just wondered whether Pistons from other FZR 400 models would fit a 3TJ or are there distinct differences between models, basically meaning so no crossover.
Additionally, Pistons seem to be pretty scarce as it seems you can't purchase new genuine Yamaha ones. Is there a group buy that purchases Pistons in bulk? If there was I'd be happy to sign up.
