3tj still splutters on take off

Hi all i bought a 3tj as a project ive gave it a full service cleaned the k an n cleaned the carbs and replaced the header pipes as they had holes in any suggestions as to why i have to rag the balls off it to not make it splutter then die

Do you have K&N pod filters - or the std airbox with a K&N insert filter?????

Vs stock jetting, probably not. Try replacing the pilot jets; they're really hard to get clean.

These are the symptom if i give it a good twist of the throttle not a problem but if i get on the throttle lightly it sounds as though its bogging down
so to summarise straight line sprint would know anything wrong casual riding hmmmm problems

I want what i payed for it and ill be honest its rough around the edges but solid. ive serviced it my self and had the carbs cleaned plus replaced the header pipes its got tax and mot till 30/06/14 but it need the carbs balancing and tidying up im only asking 800 for it
