Newbie Suspension Help

Post by reborne »

Hi guys,

I've had my FZ400RL for a few years, but thanks to life's great way of throwing unexpected crap at you have never really had it on the road much - when it did get MOT'd again 18 months ago it just kept cutting out for no reason. :(

Anyways, sorted all that and I'm finally settled and in a position where I can actually start using her properly. Took her for her MOT today. She failed on fork seals (which I expected and had already bought) and on the bush at the front of the rear suspension link.

I'll be damned if I'm doing the seals myself (knackered a fork a few years back with that trick), but I at least want to have a bash at the bush..... problem is, I can't find a replacement one anywhere. Tried ebay, Google search, the lot. Searched under different names, even generalised to searches on FZ400 and sat trooping through the results....

Any help that anyone can off would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
FZ400RL which looks rougher than a badgers ass. But I love her xx

Try Yamaha.
If not look for a second hand linkage rather than the bush.
