Help needed for a 600 guy getting to know 400's

Post by Fizzer 6 »

I currently am on my 2rd FZR 600, but am selling it to go down the road of a 400/600 conversion. Before I get rid of my spare parts I had a question that I have yet to find an answer too (yes i have already been to the FZR archives and many other online pages :P) I can't seem to get a straight answer as to fitment of a steering damper and rear taillight. Both I'd like to keep as the rear tailight is clear (and getting harder to find from what I have seen) and the steering damper can be costly.

So.... does the 600 rear tailight and steering damper fit on a 400?

Thanks in advance....

Damper: Depends on the type. IIRC the 400 and 600 forks are externally the same, so you shouldn't have too many issues.

Taillight: They're not the same, but you should be able to make something work there.
1994 FZR600: Hardly anything left stock
