I just got a FZR 400 (3EN1) which a mate spotted for sale locally.

It has fairly low mileage, only done 150 miles in the last six years, and it's a tidy bike (some surface rust and a few minor scratches)
Main faults were:
Cracked indicator on the off side (sorted care of Ebay)
Front discs had small fractures (sorted now thanks to Tonyj on 400 Greybike - cheers Tony)
Only other defect is that the upper cowling has a break near the mirror.
The weather has been great the past two days so I couldn't resist taking it out and stretching it's legs. All I can say is 'WOW'. This bike is so much fun and the power band does exactly what it says on the tin. Can't stop grinning every time I get off it.
I've got a FZR600 project on the go but it was running badly when I bought it so I had no real impression of what the bike was capable of. If it's anywhere as good as this 400 I'll be a very happy man.
