do you have pics of it with the side covers on? I wanna see how it lines up with the frame...the R1 tank lines up nicely from what I can see so far

upload them to myspace and put them in a private folder...myspace automatically resizes the images to a nice forum size.

Holy huge pictures Batman! I think I can see a microogranism or two if I look closely. Try editing the picture in MS paint. You can shrink it down that way, then upload the smaller version.

Nice job remegio! Can't wait to see the whole bike when finished. And if I may ask, do the 89FZR400 have the same frame size as the 88? The thing is I want to replace the rear swingies (stock 18 incher) with something similar to what you have. I just wanna know if it will fit or not.

Thanks for any leads and will surely be watching this thread.

it will fit for sure '88-'90 models(japanese version) were the same frame profile so you dont have to worry to do some swap. this little thing has a lot of option and flexibility. yamaha's manufacturer redifines its latest version to a slimmer, sleeker to improve aerodynamic and style. so far only 10% being difficult and the rest were easy in doing this conversion. just PM me if you have more question and have fun for the swaps.
