The 3EN1 is a Model of the 1WG Series(which were on the market before the newer designed 3TJ/4DX Models) ,so most Parts from the 3BF or 3FH (the US-1WG Models, 3BF without and 3FH with EXUP) should also fit...perhaps it might be helpful to tell us your location so that we´re able to give you some hints where to get the needed parts quicker ;)

If your looking for a gasket set, I got one from PartsNMore for about $170 CAD which was for my 1989FZR400 1wg. I often go to sites like BikeBandit find the part number for certain items then go to sites like Partzilla or OEM part sites and punch in the number as I trust them more. If you have any questions on where to get certain items just ask, I'm sure we can find them.

It's not worth rebuilding the engine.
UK prices
Gaskets £100
Cam chain £40
Skim the head flat - £40 (same if you do the barrels, I usually do both).

Now it gets tricky ... the engine is seized, so that could be a piston in the barrel - chances are you'll need a set of barrels and pistons. Or the crank is seized which could be a few new shell bearings. Either way it's bum rape time for new parts or wait around for secondhand off the Bay.

3TJ pistons had a larger dia small end pin than the 3en so the pistons don't fit your rods.

You could use a 600 3he top end and pistons (they'll fit your rods) and cut down the barrels to the 400's stroke, it should give you 560cc, but why bother, just fit the 600 engine complete

Thank you all I will consider all parts and costs and see what I might do but it's good to a 600 hundred engine fits it's a thought

The 3HE will bolt in. You'll need some of the other bits like downpipes etc but it's fairly straight forward.
