Which 400 do you own? For a 3BF/3FH the Headlights of a FZR 600 3HH or 3HE (also from a 3RG, 3RH, 3HW or 3UU) will fit directly, the Taillight with possibly a slight modifikation of the Connector (3 BF has 3 contacts in a row, 3HE 3 in a Triangle, so Plugexchange will be needed), Fuel Tap should also be directly exchangable and the Alternator from a 600 will fit if you cut away the ring on the inner side with a Dremel or another Grinding/Cutting Tool... i guess the switchblocks should be adaptable, too...
If the Alternatorcover is still there but damaged due to a simple crack (no lost pieces) its also easily possible to restaurate it with plastic Metal, some wet sanding paper and a bit of exhaust-paint or motorblock-paint (i'd done this with my Alternatorcovers, took only a small amout of time, mostly for drying the paint ;) )...
A little information where you're located will be helpful due to the check for shipmentcosts...
I've got most of the parts (Headlights from a 3BF including the Bulbs and the mounting frame, Switchblocks from a 3BF, adapted Alternatorcover from a FZR 600 3HE . but not the Fuel Tap and the Tail Ligth only without the Bulbholder, so to say only "Tail Lights Cover") you're looking for here, but i'm located in Germany and shipment to the U.S. Canada or elsewhere outside the European Union will massively increase the shipment costs(+ additional custom costs) so that its more useful then to check for local availabilty of the parts or modifying FZR 600 parts to fit i guess...

If you're in UK then the bike is probably a 3en (this code will be on the CDI under the riders seat I think) it will have fake air intakes above the twin headlights.
If that's the case it's probably better to look for a new fuel tap from Yamaha (Folwers in Bristol can help but you need to give them the frame number before they'll help you). Get the tap the lever and the lever screw, people take the fuel tank off with the lever in place and it breaks the tap and lever.
As said headlights from a FZR600 or FZR1000 will give you H4 bulbs, so you can actually see where you're going, don't fit high power bulbs.
This seller has both handlebar switch blocks http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/YAMAHA-FZR-40 ... SwPcVV0NAh I don't know them

Ah - that could be inconvenient. Still check on the cdi to get a hint about which model you have.
