Genesis Fuel Petcock or Tap

The center of my fuel petcock has been broken off. Will the GS500 fit like the 3TJ bikes? Fine with going for an aftermarket unit as well if anyone knows of one...

Yes
Take off the chromed cover bit and then take the centre out, then do the same with the other tap and build them together.

Thanks for the help. Will that 1000 tap fit the 400 tank in the first eBay link? I know someone with a number of 1000's.

It should do, but then it has a similar plastic centre to the standard 3tj tap, do the GS500 mod on your old one and it won't break again
