FZR400 3EN2 headlamp bulbs

Post by justingreenwood »

I've got an FZR400 3EN2 and don't recognise the headlamp bulbs. Can you help? It's the twin round headlamp version.
Cheers

I don't have a 400 to reference from but these bikes (FZRS) usually came with H4 style bulbs. Unless your is modified in some way. Pictures of the bulbs in question would help us help you better

Usually the bulb type (H4, or whatever) is moulded onto the Glass/Lens of the headlight, sometimes small and difficult to see, take a close look.

That's the case in the UK anyways, MY 600 European import, has them. Single lamp, dual bulbs, H1 moulded one side H3 moulded the other <<<<< yours wont match mine.

Good luck.

Justin,
As you have 3EN2 then you are not likely to be stateside unless you imported it privately.
To cut the guess work for the crowd here saying where you are in your profile would help as bikes varied across world markets (even across europe) and as been pointed out you have not said what year or posted a picture which would be a good idea.

Until you do these things I wish you luck as without them ...................

£en2 use a Yamaha bulb which is expensive and doesn't light the road that well. Have a look on ebay and buy a pair of FZR1000 Exup lamps or the 600 lamps that match the look of the 3en2 - they look flush to the fairing, these take 2 H4 bulbs and will fit your bike.
