fork oil

Right I have a 86 genesis and I have decide im going keep her stock and tidy and as have other projects to play with and tbh prefer to keep things standard. anyways im going to be replacing my fork seals soon and changing the fork oil so the question is what oil do I use?? I'm 12 stone and 20 so may go up a bit ;) and I don't want soft forks I want firm and what air gap should I have for the forks

I use 15wt fork oil in mine.
I also replaced the springs.
You will see why when you strip them..........pogo stick is a good description.

If you have 38mm dia forks,the same as a 6003HE;

435cc oil.
101mm air gap.

Thanking you kind sir can't wait to strip them down :D doubt its been done on it as I bought her as abit of a dog but she is become a fine specimen :D
