89 fzr400 front brakes suck
are the not that good? very disappointed in the braking..anyway to improve them without changing calipers and rotors from another bike.maybe a softer pad would ,work pads on it are very old and unknown composition.gregginohio

25 year old lines probably don't help any.If they are stock that's even worse. Teh rubber is probably the consistency of chewing gum.
If you don't know what the pads are, you likely don't know what teh fluid is like either.
Refresh everything and the brakes are likely to be as good as anything from those days.

they dont suck now
flushed system...mmmm ...decided to take aprt the mc ..gunky..cleaned it re-bled the system...now she will lock up the front if I want it to..master cyl was full of crap..gregginohio
