u make a good point YG ! I can basically put this bike back to stock looking within 10 minutes . I Kept all original parts just in case that day ever comes but it doesnt seem likely anytime soon as i would only sell if i was getting a newer one but at the moment its not for sale but EVERYTHING HAS A PRICE , the appearence bug has hit me but somwhat cheaply . new set of Replica fairing 599 + depending on choice and supplier .. i Cant justify paying that much .. not right now atleast ..

PYMF,
that is 600 now BUT when you sell it much later 5-10 years ??? it will look NEW plus the new guy gets a set of "racing fairings"

so what 5-10 years use plus what 400-500 back on top of the usual asking price for MINT fairings & bike

Well i ordered the swingarm/ belly pan kit was 21 bucks from a place in Penn.
put the little decals on the swingarm , michelin and terigmoni on belly pan , brembo on the brake caliper and ohlins on the front fender . while i was at it got some blue wheel stripes . i didn't know they would come to big thought they would be thinner but o well had them said wtf 20 bucks just to see what they look like on there .. think i like the all black wheel look better with the yamaha logo if only it was in blue instead of yellow ..
so at the moment this is how she sits ..
also got some slim ballast Digital Hid Xenons in h4 8000k
o and found this oem seat cowl just browsing the shit in other states typing R1 in CL search and i get a hit *** Blue Oem seat cowl mint condition . was like 2 days before the post was about to expire .. email the guy tell him im from outta state but would gladly pay for his time to ship it to me . then hes like make me an offer . said wtf $100 shipped hes like sure . these are discontinued and very hard to find for this yr model and in good condition . sent him papal 2 days later was all geeked when mail came . if you lookin my sig that one i ordered brand new doesnt have the but pad or the upwards angle it cost 180 made by company called targa which is like aftermarket maker of seat cowls ..now it just sits in a box im keeping it just in case something ever happens to this one ..enjoy

I like the rim stripes (but it's no secret that I hate all black wheels on a bike) and the gold wheels will look good too.
