How Much to Pay for a '99 R6 with 21k Miles?

Thinking about it. As far as I know, it is in good condition. Haven't seen it yet. The seller wants $2500. I am considering offering $2000.

I paid 3400 with a buddy for an 01 r6. Had edit17k miles. But that's in MO. It kind of depends on location. Kbb.com/motorcycles has some info.

I liked it when my buddy had it. Had a whole lot more umph. More parts available too. I just liked the idea of fuel injected so I went looking for an R1 when I upgraded. It'll still be a hoot.

Ok. The plan is to hold off till next year and get either a 2003-5 R6/R1 or more recent naked bike like the FZ1N / Kaw Z1000. But I saw a deal and for that price, I can pass on FI.
