I layed my bike down the other night and it won't start now. I haven't figured out why and I need help. It'll turn over and sound like it wants to start. But won't. It has spark. And I smell fuel, I'm not a great gas engine guy. I'm more into diesels.

If you had sludge in your carbs, there's a good chance that sludge got stirred up and has made its way into your pilot jets. Pull and clean your carbs. Also, check your plugs for fouling.
